Jie Chu is a student majoring in Urbanism (master degree) in TU Delft. His interest shows in this subject come from the relationship between cities’ forming and people’s activities. Cities are complex entities that can be influenced by context, technology, social and spatial relations. Nowadays, with the development of the Internet and technology, the group choice brings cities a multidimensional way of growth, as well as uncertainty and further public influence. In his views, urbanization is like an exploration of human development, reasonable design needs to consider more factors, with solid theoretical foundation, applicating new technologies and more interactive equipment.
